Reed Anthony, Cowman. An Autobiography

This Indiana native fled to Texas to become a cowboy, eventually drawing literary inspiration from his experiences in the cattle kingdom. Adams's long days and nights driving cattle across rough countryside inspired works such as the The Log of a Cowboy (1903) and Cattle Brands (1906). Adams criticized sleazy practices of railroad companies and politicians in The Outlet (1905).
