Christian Sinding (1856 - 1941),  list of works
A central figure in Norwegian Romantic music, Christian Sinding studied to be a violinist until he was in his early twenties. Realizing that he possessed an unexpected talent for composing, he abandoned performance entirely and tore into the act of creating his own works. Sinding based his own style on those of Liszt and Wagner, and he became renowned for the angry originality of his works.
